Back on the festival circuit

I’ve actually been continuously on the festival circuit since my last post with Love and Near-Death, which has played across the US and won multiple awards, including several for best actor, but now I’m back with the world premiere of my new short The Record Keepers at the Tacoma Film Festival. I’m really excited about playing in Tacoma. I’ve applied there with most of my features and also some shorts but haven’t gotten in until now. If anyone reading this happens to be in Tacoma on October 12th, come to the screening!

On the Festival Circuit

My new short film Love and Near-Death is currently on the festival circuit. We’ve screened at the Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival, the Ashland Independent Film Festival, Black Bear, Orlando, and two in Atlanta: The Atlanta Comedy Film Festival and the Atlanta Women’s Film Festival, both of which gave the film awards for cinematography and best rom com. More festivals are planned for 2025.

New short films screening in the us and france

Strands of Light, a short film compilation inspired by the stories of Jorge Luis Borges, which I created with filmmakers Joan Grossman and Alan McIntyre Smith along with filmmaking students at Rider University, was recently accepted into the Clermont-Ferrand film market, and will be screening in March at the Short. Sweet. Film Fest. in Cleveland, Ohio.

In addition, Snail Mail, a short film I made with Phillip Russell, will be playing at the Garden State Film Festival.

"The Adventures of Paul and Marian" to screen in NYC and NJ

Jay’s feature film “The Adventures of Paul and Marian” will be screening twice over the next few months. First, at the NY Indie Theatre Film Festival at the New Ohio Theatre (as featured on BroadwayWorld.com) and second as part of a symposium on movie musicals at Rider University on March 6th. This screening will be followed by a Q&A with Jay and some of the cast and crew.
